Career, school and depression, oh my!

This past semester i kinda did not go back/ took a break from school, because 1 FASFA is a pain to do. 2 I had a lot of break downs because the career i wanted was in music but I do not think i was mentally challenged to take the step. But in the winter semester I am hope to talk to advisers about a career in history.

Genealogy has always interested me but before I got into a accident and hurt my knee from dance I wanted to sing. I can sing but I also wanted to do more and when teacher pressuring me saying I would never get there, well they where right cause I broke down crying and trying to catch up with sleep. Besides the fact that I really am not good at school, but I really want to try because I want to be able to do something I enjoy.

As I was reading about Genealogy and Archives, it made me really into the history and it was what made me want to do my family tree, I even got a Genealogy book for dummies so it get me going a bit, but just having the information I have gotten from my mom and others it was kinda easy to put puzzles together where they needed to be. Between the Brown/ Grappin Family tree I was able to get it all in placed, now if i had my books and got more information, then it would be easier to get documents.

Just getting information and hearing story's makes this really good to me from family and friends.

September 11, 2001

I somewhat remember 9/11. I was only 4, just before my 5th birthday. I did ask my mom what happened, I was at home with my mom, she was pregnant and was watching tv. My mom was on the phone with a bunch of people that day, my dad was at work and came home early. Every year at school we always sat in silence some stupid students even said why do we still have to do it. I do it because I'm lucky, I'm lucky none of my family was hurt and they were all home safely. We celebrate for those who didn't make it, you didn't come home safely, who didn't make it or come home from finding others, and for those who crashed, saved others, and for those who thought it was going to be a normal day when in reality it changed not those who lost the family member that day but the world, the United States, and every student who sits in class who sits in silence. Opening up

A few months ago I ready to open up to my boyfriend after a year of being together, I was scared but at the same time I felt relieved knowing he knew and I felt so safe and happy after that and I felt like I can trust him even more after that fact that I told him things I never told him.
